Cancellation & T&Cs
Any Advanced Purchase Early Booker rates must be pre-paid in full at the time of the booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable. For all other bookings we ask that they are cancelled before midnight 7 full days prior to arrival to avoid a penalty charge of the full stay.
We ask that bookings of 3 or more rooms are cancelled 14 days prior to arrival to avoid cancellation charges.
Please note we do not pay commission to 3rd party agents who book direct with the hotel and/or with whom there is no signed, written contract.
Dogs are welcome in all rooms at a charge of £15 per dog per stay. However, they must not be left alone in the bedroom/bathroom at any time unless they are in a secure crate. Any damage caused to the paintwork or furnishings will be chargeable.
Extra beds can be accommodated in some of the larger rooms for children up to 12 years of age at a cost of £20. These must be requested through the hotel.
Cots are available for children up to 2 years of age free of charge. The small rooms cannot accommodate a cot.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking.
Always welcome and we have a cot and some put up beds if you would like them to sleep in your room (although it may be difficult to manage this in the small room).
Charge for Travel Cot: none
Charge for Z Bed: £20 a night (includes breakfast)
Arrival and Departure
Check in is from 3pm although it’s always possible that the room will be available earlier, so please call us and check. Departure is from 11am although we are happy to leave it until later if there are no incoming guests for the room.
Please note that the hotel does not operate a 24 reception desk, so if you plan to arrive after 10pm please call the hotel in advance so they can arrange access.
Loss or damage
Any loss or damage to items listed within the inventory will be charged as required. The Swan reserves the right to charge the full amount for reinstatement of items found to have gone missing or to have broken.
