It’s a busy world out there and we try and make The Swan a comfortable and relaxing place to be. We’re open all day with the kitchen team in early producing everything from tasty bar snacks, cakes and salads to a three course lunch or dinner.

The dedicated front of house team are there to ensure everything runs smoothly and that excellent customer service is provided at all times.The kitchen is led by head chef Tom Blake previously of the River Cottage Canteen where he cooked with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients with great success for a number of years.

We all believe that the village pub is the perfect place to serve delicious and unfussy food that changes daily and keeps pace with the farming calendar. Our kitchen team are an ambitious and creative bunch. They like nothing better than to surprise and delight with an uncompromising focus on flavour and simplicity. Tom has now got our wood fired oven up and running out on the terrace and will be demonstrating just how tasty outdoor cooking can be!
